Terms and Conditions for Applicants

By submitting your audition video and application for Barbecue Country (the "Production"), produced by Get After It Media ("Producer"), you agree to the following legally binding terms:

1. Eligibility & Certifications

You hereby certify and represent that:

  • You are a legal resident of the United States.

  • You are 18 years of age or older as of the date of submission.

  • You have not won any major food competitions or any prizes valued at over $1,500 in a single event.

  • Background Check: You agree to undergo a background check should you be selected as a potential participant. You agree to execute any necessary documents required by the Producer to facilitate this check.

  • All information provided in your application is truthful and accurate.

  • You are the sole owner of the rights to the audition video submitted.

2. Grant of Rights and Likeness

By submitting, you grant Producer, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and partners the irrevocable, sublicensable, and royalty-free right to use your audition video, name, voice, image, and likeness in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, across the universe, in perpetuity. You understand these materials may be used for production, advertising, promotion, or trade without further approval or compensation.

3. Availability & Travel

If selected as a participant, you agree to be available on-location in the Nashville, TN area on the dates of April 6th and April 23rd, 2026 consecutively, as required by the production schedule.

  • Travel: You are responsible for all costs associated with travel to and from the Nashville area.

  • Lodging/Expenses: Producer will provide lodging and a set per diem for meals/incidental expenses during the active shooting days.

  • Branded apparel on set must be approved prior to filming at Producer’s sole discretion.

4. Release and Hold Harmless

You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Get After It Media, its subsidiaries, officers, employees, and partners from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your participation in the application process or the Production, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage.

5. Compensation

You acknowledge and agree that you are appearing and providing materials voluntarily. You waive any right to monetary compensation or residuals for the use of your name, likeness, video, or photos in connection with the Production or its promotion.

6. Production Authority

Producer maintains absolute discretion over the competition. You agree that:

  • Producer has the right to remove any participant from the competition at any time for any reason.

  • Producer has the sole and final right to determine the winner of the competition.

  • The decisions of the judges and Producer are final and binding in all respects.
