Chattanooga, Tenn. (June 19, 2017) – The Heartland Network, Luken Communications’ country music and lifestyle offering, is set to welcome Positively Paula, starring celebrity chef, television host and entrepreneur Paula Deen, to its programming schedule. Beginning this July, Heartland viewers can catch Paula on Mondays and Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Positively Paula welcomes viewers into Deen’s kitchen as family, friends and even some celebrities join in sharing memories as she prepares her favorite recipes. Featured dishes include some of the traditional Southern foods for which she is best known like her macaroni and cheese, pork chops and banana pudding as well as a few surprises including a totally vegan episode that is prepared for her! Positively Paula also treats viewers to some of the sights, sounds and local fare offered all around her Savannah, Georgia home.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of The Heartland Network! Our goal with this show was to create a family experience, harkening back to a simpler time, with no distractions…the family gathered around the television set, enjoying the show, and that special time with one another,” said Phil Hadaway, President of Royal Academy Films and Creator of Positively Paula.

Terri Coyle, Luken’s Director of Programming, said, “Paula Deen is the connoisseur of Southern comfort food, with a downhome and welcoming delivery.  Positively Paula goes with Heartland like sweet tea and front porch swings, and our team is especially pleased to welcome Paula to the Heartland family.”

Deen resides in Savannah, where she owns and operates The Lady & Sons restaurant with her sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen.  In addition to Paula’s digital lifestyle network, the Paula Deen Network, and a line of retail stores, Paula has opened Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
