Along with regular characters such as famed disc jockey and host Larry Black, Keith Bilbrey, Sheriff Jimmy Capps, Waitress Renae and avid church lady, Nadine, the series also boasts a special guest lineup comprised of country music artists of the past and present. Country’s Family Reunion was born from a simple idea: Ask the legends who shaped country music to get together, tell their stories and maybe sing a few songs. Since the success of that first original taping with over 30 country music legends, more than a dozen other special series of Country’s Family Reunionhave been created featuring hundreds of songs and stories. Joining the Heartland lineup will be Country’s Family Reunion: Lookin’ Back. This special collection features some of the greatest segments throughout the 15-year history of Country’s Family Reunion. Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, along with producer Larry Black, share stories and stroll down memory lane with hundreds of country music legends.
